  i can put up with a lot of things.

  but i avoid people who are "users".

  you know the type....always taking, never giving, always looking to take advantage of someone......and i don't like liars all that much either.

  Plans for this Christmas and New Years ???

  ok, i am curious if there are any plans for ex jws for these holidays.

  they are my first in 33 years and it looks now like they are going to be just the way that the last ones have been spent.

  any ideas?

  i just could not believe it when i stumbled across this forum recently.

  i was actually doing research for my dad who wanted to see the world's viewpoint of the failed 1975 prophecy.

  he came into the truth less than three years ago and though my mom has been a witness since she was a teenager she never spoke of that particular time period to him.

  A good friend to me is someone that sees me as a person not a woman, not who and what I am made of financially etc. That person sees beneath the superficial and takes time to know me for who I am and am not. Good friends do not have to agree on everything. They respect and value differences. Who wants to have a reflection of themselves in front of them all of the time. I value honesty and I need trust. A good friend is someone that can find 30 minutes for you anytime day or night and in turn you must be willing to find an hour for them. In the end it will balance out. cabs

  Ok, I am curious if there are any plans for ex JWs for these holidays. They are my first in 33 years and it looks now like they are going to be just the way that the last ones have been spent. Any ideas? I live in Vt. and if anyone is familiar with any cool places to go then I would love to check them out. Remember please that I will be solo so dont make them too wild, ok? I know it is a bit of a strange thread but as the time is nearer I realize that this is one area that I have not ironed out yet. Although I was not able to get a tree or decorate this time I would like to have a bit of gentle fun before it is over. Thank you.

  my wife gave birth to a baby boy this afternoon!

  he doesn't have a name yet so any suggestions?

  for all those that care (seems only women do) he is 10 points even and over 22" long.

  I feel that whether there is life after death or not is a question that will never be answered for some of us during our life times even if given the same proofs as the person beside of us. As for me... I have chosen to celebrate the unknown. When we fear then we are just re enforcing the approach to life and death that we were taught by the JWs. cabs
